The Insanity of Nores

Roger Nores, once a businessman in Argentina who ran his energy company into the ground and who ended up Liam Payne’s defacto manager from April 2024 remains under investigation for the singer’s untimely passing in October. Liam’s passing came under extremely suspicious circumstances and the former businessman claims he was Liam’s good friend but played no part in his death. 

Since the last article I wrote on this subject more evidence has come to light regarding Liam and his last months as his father’s statement sheds light on Liam’s mental health and mobile phone usage prior to his death. Rogelio, who as many know, came back into Liam’s life in April of 2024 when Liam, Kate and Geoff visited Argentina to see Liam’s former One Direction bandmate, Louis Tomlinson perform.

Prior to this visit Liam had released his new music video for the song ‘Teardrops’ which had fans raving about it and looking forward to new music to follow. Liam was excited to start his new chapter but before this chapter could fully begin a shadow from Liam’s past in the form of his public ex- fiancee (former stunt girlfriend turned fiancee), Maya Henry. Maya posted that she was publishing a book which, while remaining fiction, was based on real events and was about how she survived an abusive relationship. 

The book mentioned Argentina. A main character, Mallory, had family ties in Argentina and Oliver, the main character, attempts to end his life in the country as well; however in early April this was unknown and only became suspicious after Liam’s passing. However, the trip to Argentina coincided with the announcement of the book and later Maya accused Liam of only visiting Louis to take publicity from her release. 

Further this visit appeared to put Liam back in touch with the Argentinian businessman who later would take control of Liam’s life to the extent that apparently medical professionals would contact Nores when dealing with Liam’s health and addiction issues. Liam, according to Nores, was not being properly cared for by his family and needed someone who would encourage his sobriety and who would take control to ensure that he remained sober. 

This is completely at odds with what fans witnessed publicly as Kate and Roger seemed quite happy to drink and take what appeared to be drugs while in Liam’s presence. Roger, Kate and Lula Miranda appeared to isolate Liam away from his family and friends and support network. 

Liam was in his last months looking unusually thin and defeated with pained expressions during his appearances on TikTok, in photographs and on his Snapchats. This was brought to our attention by Liam’s fans and those who watched on as Liam was bullied relentlessly online. Furthermore, he also had multiple bruises around his eyes and cheeks in the last months of his life, but we can only speculate on the cause of those. 

Lulu Miranda, was a support act for Niall Horan and also worked on the X Factor in Argentina, giving her a link to Simon Cowell as well as  Liam’s former bandmate. Liam who ,when he was in Argentina, had Lula as a correspondent for the Casasur Hotel as his assistant manager and who the hotel contacted with regards to Liam’s requests. This is at odds with what we knew of Liam and according to Nores’ Liam was a free man, making his own choices, yet Nores’ girlfriend was apparently a part of Liam’s management team, without fan knowledge or even his own family knowing. 

Liam, according to his father Geoff, had decided to stay off his phone and therefore off social media as it was extremely negatively affecting his mental health. Geoff noted that Liam would check in but friends reported that when they spoke to Liam there was always someone in the background asking who he was speaking to, with one friend claiming that when this happened Liam ended the call and said he would call back, but never did. Liam’s dad also stated that when he called to check in on Liam he was given updates by Roger and didn’t get to speak to Liam or if he did the calls were short and succinct.

In the last days of his life, Liam was allegedly texting drug dealers and escorts while in Argentina. Nores also texted Liam saying the ‘six grams’ was ‘the good stuff’ and this has been released to the press by Argentinian authorities. However, if Liam, as Geoff testified, wasn’t using a phone and his mobile phone was recovered from Gonzalo’s house where Nores was staying,  then how do we know it was Liam texting?

To add to this, when Maya Henry allegedly served Liam with a Cease and Desist, how do we know it was Liam messaging her? If he wasn’t using his phone and was recording his Snapchats  on Kate’s phone then how could he possibly have been messaging Maya at all? Was this being done to ruin Liam’s reputation and if the fans who came forward claiming Liam was messaging them were telling the truth then why have those accounts disappeared? Furthermore, allegedly the messages between the escorts and Liam were sent from Florida when Liam was still in Argentina so that doesn’t make sense either. 

Another facet of this story that doesn’t add up is the fact that Geoff didn’t know which hotel Liam was staying in while in Argentina. Why didn’t Liam’s family know what hotel Liam was in and why didn’t Kate or Roger contact Geoff if Liam was as off the rails as they stated? Geoff, as fans know, would have moved heaven and earth for his son, yet they didn’t reach out - why not?

Today, January 16th, Roger has stated that he is suing Geoff as he blames Geoff for attempting to ruin his life which is baffling especially since today is three months since Liam’s passing: three months of changing stories, changing narratives and changing charges, but one thing that hasn’t changed is that Liam deserves justice. Liam didn’t die at his own hands and there are people out there responsible. 

To fans of Liam the fact that TMZ are again giving Roger a platform for this lawsuit, after spreading the picture of Liam’s deceased body and giving Roger a platform to say he’s boring. Rogelio stated via TMZ that he doesn’t take drugs but there is, in fact, a video of him handing Liam something outside the Hyatt and also taking what looks like a line of cocaine at Niall’s show. This just goes to show how disrespectful he is and how he expects to get away with it because he has government connections, or because he’s Argentinian. 

Fans can only hope that justice will be served and that this lawsuit is just another attempt to stop justice being delivered because it’s not Geoff who’s ruined Rogelio’s reputation - it’s Rogelio himself. He’s told so many stories to TMZ and he clearly hasn’t realised that the One Direction and Liam Payne fandoms are working in tandem to get justice. 

No one cares about their drug fueled binge/ falling narrative because it’s as flimsy a story as Maya’s book being fiction. No one believes the falling story because it doesn’t fit and it wasn’t Geoff who had fans looking in Roger’s direction for answers, it was fans themselves. Rogelio Nores is ruined, not because of Geoff Payne, but because he was complicit in Liam’s passing and that is the one truth he cannot escape from. No amount of bluster or bullshit in the press can change that and we as fans stand with the Payne family. 

For Roger to accuse Geoff of not only ruining him, but also of not caring for Liam adequately is immoral, disgusting and horrific. The family of Liam have suffered enough and have quite frankly gone through hell these past three months so this is just sickening and disgraceful. Perhaps Roger should take a long hard look in the mirror before he starts accusing Geoff of painting him in a bad light when Geoff has acted with nothing but dignity since Liam passed. 

Try again Rogelio - cause this one’s another bust.
