Louis; You Made It

Louis Tomlinson Success without Support; Part 2

Louis Tomlinson has just finished an extremely successful festival circuit following an incredible world tour and has been touring almost constantly for the past two years. He also released a film in the same time frame and has found his footing as a solo artist.

Fans of Louis have been delighted over the past few years to see him soar and see him constantly reach new heights, gain new fans and find his voice. Walls, as an album is a lyrical masterpiece but FITF is where we really saw Louis’ writing prowess shine. Ballads like Chicago and Saturdays tug on the heartstrings and anthems like Out of My System and Silver Tongues have fans dancing and screaming along the lyrics.

During Louis’ tour fans from all over the world held meet ups, live streamed concerts for others to feel like they were present and shared the love of Louis and his shows online. Fans worked together during the release of Faith in the Future to help Louis get his first UK Number 1 and there were fan projects during concerts from the Kill my Mind project to the rainbow light show that French Louies perfected.

Further, the fans worked hard online, requesting Louis’ songs on multiple radio stations, and held streaming parties online. If you ask any Louis fan how they feel about Louis’ music, most would say it’s underrepresented on the mainstream radio stations. With a sound similar to the Arctic Monkeys Louis music should be on rotation, but it’s not and we can only guess why.

Another aspect of Louis‘ incredible success is his launching of his own festival which has grown massively from its first year to this year, and hopefully beyond. It was first hosted in Crystal Palace bowl before moving to Fuengirola, Spain to Italy and then this year to Mexico. The festival sees fans from all over the world travelling to the locations to support Louis and the incredible music from the bands playing.

Louis ended his time in Mexico and FITF world tour by playing the Away From Home Festival which was his second festival of the year and was massively successful. He also released a Live Album with various songs from FITF, Walls and One Direction and saw his album sales, according to Forbes rise by 68,000%; this is incredible for an artist who has very little exposure through the mainstream media.

Louis then embarked on a Festival circuit where he found new and old fans supporting him with some festivals reporting that Louis drew in massive crowds, such as Victorious Festival in the UK, which said Louis drew in a crowd of 80000 during his set. He also played both Superbloom and Lollapalooza and has announced another Lollapalooza festival in India in March 2025 today which has caused many fans to be over the moon and some have already purchased tickets.

Louis as an artist is insanely talented but his talent was often underlooked in One Direction and post One DIrection due to the popularity of the other boys, but he’s definitely come into his own as a singer, as an artist and as a performer. We couldn’t be prouder of what he’s achieved.

He credits fans with the success he has but all we do is support him. The rest is down to him, his talent, his resilience and his drive. We as a fandom cannot wait to see what comes next from our blue eyed Donny lad, but one things for sure, the sky is the limit and we love to see him soar.

Congratulations Louis. You made it. Enjoy your time off and we’ll all be waiting to see what you do next.

Lastly a massive thank you to fans who’ve livestreamed shows and festival sets for everyone. You are incredible and we are all so incredibly grateful to you all. Here’s to Louis in 2025 and what’s to come.

                                 All our love
